back to the basics

A dog intensive post….well, just because we haven’t had one in a while now!
I’m in need of a few folks who are dog owners, so if that’s you listen up
If you (or a close friend) have a dog and wouldn’t mind spending an hour or so in the park with me and my camera, please email me. There is not a specific breed or age I am looking for, but rather a low-key, friendly canine who likes to have their picture taken (ummm, okay - let’s be honest, there are few of those). I mean a low-key, friendly canine who can be persuaded to look in the direction of the camera with delicious treats! In return for a release, I can offer you five high-resolution images on a CD to do whatever your heart desires.
Also, keep in mind that Christmas is truely not that far away. If you dread the christmas card shopping and autographing, let me make it easy for you. Schedule a session for you and your spouse, family, or just the kids and let me do the christmas card designing. I have a selection of christmas cards that can be custom printed with your holiday message and delivered to your home with envelopes ready to address and stamp. Thinking you don’t want to get in front of the camera…..people love pets on cards, so think about featuring your canine (and feline) friends this season!
And what’s a post with some pictures??!! Without further adeu….Kadie and Paco.

Also, you might have heard about Chai, the golden, who had his tongue amputated after a freak accident with a play ball. I urge you to read Chai’s story and spread the message about these type of toys as I fear other dogs have experiences with similar products. (NOTE: I’m not about boycotting this one company in particular or any others for that matter, however I am about saving a dog pain, so if you own a ball with a related description I suggest you think about throwing it away)

Oooo the colors and depth of field in these are awesome. I love the little tongue peeking out too!

It seems weird to comment on my own blog…..
Alas, I get too many emails going…..so this will be easier. Thanks for the comment Grace. I noticed that I processed Kadie’s image on the cooler side and Paco’s on the warm side, but they were both taken on the same (dark and gray) day. I’m digging it though, a little break from the norm.
Paco’s tongue is actually sorta a sad story…..he’s missing some teeth so it’s hard for him to keep the tongue in his mouth. I think it just adds to his personality!

Poor Paco! My Giger has a problem similar to that. When’s he’s eating sometimes his tongue hangs out the side of his mouth. It’s pretty amusing.

Sure we could take an hour out of our lives to pose for the camera. Mommy loves for me to have my picture taken. Especially since I am a Rare Black Airedale. I like the camera too. Just pemail my mommy and we can hook up!!!
Thank you for stopping by. We loved your pictures!!! As you can tell I am not to busy…….we would just have to pull mom away from NCIS and grab her before she starts watching Eureka. teehee
Slurps away,
Willow and mommy Robin
