I’m glad to hear that people enjoyed my last post.  It was one of those images that I couldn’t stop looking (and laughing) at once I found it tucked away on the memory card.  Truth-be-told that image is a product of me shooting from the hip while sitting on the ground.  I was attempting to get Dexter to look at the camera, but he was much more fascinated with trying to lick my lens.  So, I drop the camera down to my hip and just starting snapping away to see what I could get. 

In honor of that crazy photo, I’ve decided to have a contest.  Yes, you heard correctly - a contest.  In order to drum up some new friends for the blog (and reconnect with the old ones), I want you to submit the funniest photo you have of your pet.  Uh huh, it can be any pet you might have (although I would prefer to not see any snakes or spiders, beggars can’t be choosers).  I’ll post all the entries here on the blog for you to enjoy and then I’ll pick one winner.  That person shall win a $25 amazon gift card courtesy of Dexter and myself!  What does that mean for you - well get snapping already, the contest ends January 31st at 6:00 pm EST.  I’ll post the entries by February 2nd and choose a winner.
