Need I say more?
Oh boy, it’s been awhile since a good post. Been doing a little bit of this, a little bit of that including an online pet photography workshop which I am truely enjoying. Dex update - he’s currently enjoying a 12-hour Friday romp at the local dog daycare and loving every minute of it. In fact, I think he wants to go to daycare everyday and is sad when I don’t get his leash out of the closet as I’m stepping out the door to go to work. See cuteness below.

It finally got nice enough to venture outside with the camera and I’m loving every minute of it. Took some pictures of D since he was getting ready to celebrate the big -1-. You’ll remember I photographed this cutie last year shortly after he was born and one of my images made the final cut for his birth annoucement. Our second session did not disappoint, we were able to come up with a great image for the 1st birthday party invitations. Again, see the cuteness overload below.

And then I’m just working hard and learning lots in the photography workshop. Email me if you want to hear more specifics or have any questions. This was a moderately priced, online, 4-week course that I think is a great starting place for anyone with an interest in pet photography.

More good stuff to come!!
Guess who is featured on Snap* (my Pet)?

Snap* my pet is a project of the Mod-Dogs and features artists from across the world that specialize in pet photography. I’m honored to have been choosen as a featured photographer and in the company of some of my favorite pet artists of all time. Make sure you take a moment to check out the bio of each photographer, it’s truely a collection of great talent

Dexter never disappoints when I’m having a bad day
So all of the tabs aren’t quite complete, but at least you have an idea of where the blog is headed. It took me awhile to get things right and I’m sure there will be a minor adjustment here or there. Patience is an absolute virtue when you are trying to code (something I have very little knowledge of).

Look - side by side images! This new design is a much wider format than before, so I’m hoping it will make viewing images that much more enjoyable. More to come soon

LEDO AND MICHELLE!!
Michelle, I’ll be emailing you before the end of the weekend for some information regarding your gift card. Let it be said that this was a very difficult choice, however I think everyone should be a winner so I’ll be offering 20% of a (local) dog session to all my participants!! Yahoo
I received some great entries for my first blog contest and by no means was this an easy decision. To be honest, if I had just won the lotto I would give a gift card to all who entered….but I didn’t, so I’ll have to hold off on that for now!
You want to see the funnies??

How cute (and funny) are they? Adorable in my humble opinion. So I don’t mean to keep up with the suspense, but I’ll post the winner here very shortly….stay tuned!

If that doesn’t make you smile, I’m not sure what will! Happy sunday, stay warm and dry
Okay, so my 25 days of Dex fell though…..the holidays were just a bit too crazy for me. Would a picture of Dex modeling his new bandana courtesy of my sister and soon-to-be bil help??

It lightly snowed this morning with the most perfect tiny snowflakes I’ve ever seen and now the sun is shining. It’s almost magical looking outside, like the kind of scene in a christmas movie. Such a beautiful day - I hope yours is just as wonderful.

Dex has quickly learned the ‘pretty please’ face. How could anyone say no to that??!!
